My own journey to reclaiming good health and discovering a bigger vision for life started from being challenged by all the health issues I had that were brought on by a busy life.
They call it stress. I was shocked!
Everything accumulates in your body. Processed foods and other habits, some that we might even think are healthy. The emotional baggage one can stuff down over a lifetime shows up in more ways than you can imagine, until you get quiet and honest with yourself. What you ignore, deny or run away from shows up in how you and your life looks. Dis - ease is often what finally gets your attention.
I was doing everything I thought I was supposed to do to be happy and successful. Raising a family, a busy career doing what those around me were doing, or so I thought. How was I getting it so wrong I wondered.
Looking back I realized others were only doing the best they knew to keep up with all of their life's demands. Some look like they do it better than others and it's easy to stand on the sidelines looking in thinking others have a better life, house, car, spouse.
I was 45 with failing health and a life I was forcing myself to love. I thought that if I had already lived my best years, I didn't want my second half to be the same.
I made a decision to show up for my health, my relationships and to create a new life experience that was interesting and had a deeper meaning than wake up tired, go to work, repeat...
It was consciously a decision first then I had to find the tools. If you told me what my path was going to involve back then, I wouldn't have believed you. What I learned and applied changed how I look at the world and it has changed how I look.
I went farther than I ever imagined was possible. My number one motivator is that it was so emotionally painful. I blamed my body yet discovered it was something completely different that held me in incorrect patterns of physical & emotional behavior.
I didn't set out to be a teacher of anything, I was simply searching for a solution.
I was fortunate to find the right teachers and I was a willing, even desperate student.
I now have tools that guide me in every area of my life. Is it easy? No, doable, definitely.
To every human question about myself I have tools to find the answers.
It is how I discovered what most people are looking for - how to be their true authentic self.

Women understand healthy is more than a gym membership.
Being healthy goes beyond physical fitness and nutrition.
Mental, emotional & spiritual well-being are equally important and integral to your mind body connection and self empowerment.
I'm not about weight loss or looking younger, although that's
what happens when you engage through regular conscious movement
and cleaning up your food, nutrition and environment.
As a younger woman, I rarely felt comfortable in my body and didn't even realize this was a thing til I found the correct type of movement for my body.
Previously, I forced my body to do movement that was even painful, based on a one size fits all methodology being taught in the gym and many yoga studios. Much of this is masculine and not designed for every body, especially women's body's. This is often how injuries happen. Also, past trauma often isn't factored into many work out routines.
Movement is key to longevity and enjoying a health filled life. Additionally, tending to the spirit involves cultivating a sense of purpose, exploring personal values, and finding inner peace through practices that challenge you to grow by working on your inner game. Addressing these aspects holistically, women experience optimal health allowing them to thrive in all areas of their lives.
Her courage comes from her ability to embrace her vulnerability, seeing her flaws as sources of strength and empowerment.
